A Webinar on the topic “IP and Youth Innovating for a Better Future” was organized by Institutions innovation council (IIC 4.0), Annamacharya College of Pharmacy, Rajampet and invited speaker Dr. K.Aruna, Coordinator, IPR facilitation Centre, JNTUA ananthapuramu on 26th April 2022.

The programme started with an opening remark delivered by Dr.D.Swarnalatha, Professor& Principal, Annamacharya college of Pharmacy. She mentioned that the present webinar aims to increase people’s awareness and understanding of intellectual property (IP). To learn about the role that intellectual property (IP) rights play in encouraging innovation and creativity.

The invited speaker Dr. K.Aruna mentioned that list of schemes related to startups. She provided more information on IPR services like patents, trademarks, copyright, geographical indication and their economic impact. Given descriptive information of copyrights and trade secrets. She explained about how trade secrets are legally protected.

After that questions and interaction session was held in which teachers also shared the information of ongoing IPR activities in Annamacharya college of Pharmacy by Dr.C.Suryapraksh reddy, Professor, Dept. of pharmaceutics.

The Webinar was ended by Vote of Thanks given by Dr.M.Pramod, Asst.Professor, Dept. of pharmacy practice. In the webinar 88 members of Teachers, Students were participated.
