WEBINAR PROGRAM ON NANO MEDICINE – ROLE OF QBD IN DESIGN AND DEVELOPMENT

A webinar program was organized through online platform by the Department of Pharmaceutics, with the focus on “NANO MEDICINE – ROLE OF QBD IN DESIGN AND DEVELOPMENT” for the staff and students of all the colleges. Patron of the program, The Treasurer Sri. C. Abhishek Reddy, spoke the importance of nanotechnology and their application in present world is indispensable in the pharma and other sciences to overcome many challenges in their respective fields. Dr. Keerti Jain, Assistant Professor, Department of Pharmaceutics, NIPER, Raebareli, Lucknow, Speaker of the program, thrown a unicorn focus on exemplified title “NANO MEDICINE- Role of Qbd in design and drug development” to produce safe and efficient drug product. She illustrated her session with accumulating many case studies to take active part in understanding. Principal, Dr. D. Swarnalatha, importance of Nanotechnology in production of medicine and treatment especially in cancer. She also explains the importance of QbD in drug design and development briefly. Dr. P. Dwarkanadha Reddy, HOD, Department of pharmaceutics, briefly explain the importance of pharmaceutics department in production and marketing of drugs. Also, he explains briefly about the role of pharmaceutics person in maintaining the safety and efficacy of drugs in industry. Around 150 participants (faculty, Research scholars and students) were participated in online webinar from all over country. Dr. P. Anitha, Professor, Department of pharmaceutics, organized this webinar. Dr. C. Surya Prakash, Dr. V. Viswanath, Dr. V. Sarovar Reddy and Ms. G. V. Sowmya Sree are the co-organizers of the webinar.
