Annamacharya College of Pharmacy was established in the year 2003 by Annamacharya Educational Trust. The college provides B. Pharmacy, M. Pharmacy, Pharm D and Pharm D (PB) courses.

The college is affiliated to Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University.

The candidates seeking admission in ANCP should pass 10+2 or equivalent courses from any board or council with 45% for OC, 40 % for OBC, SC, ST aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics/Biology/Zoology/Computer Science.

Candidates willing to join the Pharmacy course will have to clear a state level entrance test called ‘Engineering, Agricultural and Pharmacy Common Entrance Test’ (EAPCET), conducted by the Government of Andhra Pradesh.

Admission Procedure

  • 30% of the total intake (30 Candidates) can be admitted under management/NRI quota into 1st year Pharmacy course every year.
  • Number of seats for B.pharmacy sanctioned for every year : 100+10 (Fee Waiver Scheme) & 6 (Lateral Entry to 2nd year)
  • Number of seats for Phram.D sanctioned for every year: 33
  • Mention the admission test being followed, name and address of the test agency and its URL (website): The Convener, EAPCET (Admissions), GUNTUR.
  • Calendar for admission against management/vacant seats:
    • The schedule will be issued by The Secretary, APSCHE (Andhra Pradesh State Council for Higher Education) GUNTUR.
    • Last date for request for applications.
    • Last date for submission of application.
    • Dates for announcing final results.
    • Release of admission list (main list and waiting list should be announced on the same day)
    • Date for acceptance by the candidate (time given should in no case be less than 15 days)
    • Last date for closing of admission.
  • Starting of the Academic session: As per the JNTUA academic calendar
  • The waiting list should be activated only on the expiry date of the main list.
  • The policy of refund of the fee, in case of withdrawal, should be clearly notified.

Criteria and Weightages for Admission

  • Admissions will be made by The Convener, EAPCET, GUNTUR.
  • Describe each criteria with its respective weightages i.e. Admission Test, marks in qualifying examination etc.
  • Mention the minimum level of acceptance, if any.
  • Mention the cut-off levels of percentage & percentile scores of the candidates in the admission test for the last three years.
  • Display marks scored in Test etc. and in aggregate for all candidates who were admitted.
