NSS SPECIAL CAMP 2022

INAUGURAL AND AWARENESS ON PHYSICAL FITNESS BY YOGA AND MEDITATION:

Session -1

NSS special camp was started with Inaugural session by beloved Principal Dr. D.Swarnalatha, Annamacharya College of Pharmacy. Mr.N.Sreenivasulu, Head Master SJSM ZP High School, New Boyanapall. Mr.B.Raja Sarpanch NewBoyanapalli and other village heads. Volunteers of ANCP and Program officer Mr.Y.Pradeep Kumar.

Dr. D. Swarnalatha addressed the session with Conveying importance of NSS Special camp and motivated the students of SJSM ZP High school with her motivational quotes.

Mr.N. Sreenivasulu felt happy towards selection of the school and conveyed his best wishes to the NSS Volunteers. after the message of Head Master program officer explains one-week program schedule and delivered importance of NSS special camp. NSS volunteers felt happy to being a part of NSS Special camp.

Session -2:

Objective: importance of yoga and meditation followed by pranayama.

After inaugural session NSS volunteers explained physical fitness by yoga and meditation. Mr. Vinod and Mr. Jayanth showed and practices suryanamaskar to the IX class students and delivered importance of each namaskar. Ms. Ramya explains importance of meditation and she practices pranayama to all the students. All the students were feel very happy.

CLEAN AND GREEN PROGRAM (SWATCH BHARATH)

Objective: Clean the premises of SJSM ZP High School and good Cleaning Practices

“Cleanliness is next to Godliness.” It is the mantra of Mahatma Gandhiji, Father of Nation. He demonstrated, propagated and insisted for individual and community cleanliness throughout his life. Following his footprints, Swachh bharat Mission campaign achieved encouraging results. This vision will be translated into action by bringing in community participation for clean and integrated waste management to make India open defecation free, zero waste, dust free, plastic free and green India.

The second Day of NSS special camp was started with moto of clean the school premises. NSS Volunteers and IX class students of SJSM school were actively participated in that program. Volunteers clean the school, play-ground, dining area followed by hand wash area. After the cleaning they bleach each area and explains to the students how to clean such areas and NSS unit stick some notices that use dust bins and make the school very hygiene

PLANTATION, AWARENESS ON JUNK FOOD ESSAY WRITING COMPETITION

Objective: To make the school green by plantation, give the awareness on JUNK food , conduct Essay Writing competition to students of IX class to enhance their skills and promote their knowledge.

Session I

Day 3 started with plantation program by Dr. D. Swarnalatha, Dr.P.Dwarakanadha Reddy Prof and HOD Annamacharya College of Pharmacy and NSS volunteers. Around 15 plants were planted in and around the school premises by making pits. Dr D. Swarnalatha says her wishes to the students and NSS volunteers who were actively participated in the plantation program.

Session II

After plantation NSS volunteers created an Awareness on JUNK food by showing videos, images and how shop keepers made the food. Especially they focused on preparation of Pani Poori, Gobi Manchurian and other chat items. Students realized that what they are eating after the program. Volunteers practically showed what is the effect of Kurkure, Lays and other chips items available in market. After that volunteers take a pledge against JUNK food eating, cigarette smoking and alcohol consuming.

Session III

After Awareness NSS unit conducted an Essay Writing to the IX class students of SJSM ZP school on topic Entitled CORONA VIRUS, nearly 20 members voluntarily participated in that program.

MEDICAL CAMP

Objective: To measure BMI level, blood grouping, Hemoglobin level to the students and Blood pressure, Blood glucose level to the villagers of New Boyanapalli.

4th Day of NSS special camp was started with a mega MEDICAL CAMP by NSS volunteers and V Year Pharm D Students of ANCP. On request of Head master of SJSM ZP high School blood grouping and hemoglobin level to the IX class and X class students was done. Nearly 185 students were benefitted by medical camp. Around 70 members of New boyanapalli villagers were benefitted by medical camp. In the medical camp V Year Pharm D students were given a counselling to the students and public.

After the Medical Camp A Lunch program was arranged to the NSS volunteers and teachers of SJSM school.

AWARENESS ON SEASONAL DISEASES, GAMES AND SPORTS

Objective: to create an Awareness on seasonal diseases like sun stroke, small pox and chicken pox

Session I

5th day NSS special camp was started with awareness program on seasonal diseases like sunstroke, small pox and chicken pox. Mr. Jayanth explained the precautions about sunstroke, Ms. Yasmeen explained how the small pox and chicken pox will be transmitting and what are the precautions to take in this summer.

Session II

After the awareness program volunteers conducted games and sports to the students of SJSM High school like running race, khokho, volley ball and running race all the students are actively participated and enjoyed a lot.

Session III

Not only the sports volunteers conducted singing and dance competition to the students. Around 20 members were actively participated along with teachers of SJSM high school and they conveyed that special camp boost their happy.

PRIZE DISTRIBUTION AND VALEDICTORY

Session I

Last day of NSS special camp was started with prize distribution. Sri C. Yella Reddy Vice chairman, Annamacharya Educational Trust acts as a chief guest to the valedictory program, Dr. P.Dwarakanadha Reddy Professor and Head ANCP was guest of Honor, Sri. B. Raja sarpanch of New Boyanapalli and other village heads were actively participated in that program. Valedictory speech given by Mr.Y Pradeep Kumar, NSS Program Officer, ANCP.Mr. N. Sreenivasulu and other staff members were expressed their happy moments on valedictory. Mr. Vinod, NSS volunteer expressed his views and shared his feelings on 6 day program. Sri. C. Yelaareddy garu shared his words regarding NSS special camp.

Session II

Several competitions like Essay writing, Elocution, sports, games and cultural events were conducted by NSS volunteers. Winners were announced and prizes were given by Sri. C.Yella Reddy garu and other faculty of School.

On the request of principal of SJSM school, NSS unit donated 10 skipping ropes, 10 ring balls and some motivational quotes to the host school. All the staff were happy and vice chairman was very happy about program being organized by NSS team ANCP.

The special camp was ended with NATIONAL ANTHEM.

CLEAN AND GREEN PROGRAM
